Original Prefilled Pen
The original Prefilled Pen is an easy-to-use pen that contains Humalog, Humalog Mix75/25 (75% insulin lispro protamine suspension, 25% insulin lispro injection [rDNA origin]), or Humalog Mix50/50 (50% insulin lispro protamine suspension, 50% insulin lispro injection [rDNA origin]). This lightweight, pocket-sized Prefilled Pen can be used just about anywhere — there is no refrigeration needed after first use.* You use one Pen at a time and leave unopened Pens in the refrigerator. When the Pen is empty, you throw the entire Pen away as directed by your healthcare provider.
Accurate and simple
You simply "dial" your dose by turning the dose knob in one-unit increments (up to 60 units). If you dial too much, simply turn the knob back to your correct dose.

*Discard 28 days after first use for Humalog Prefilled Pen and 10 days after first use for Humalog Mix75/25 and Humalog Mix50/50 Prefilled Pens.
